Dear Sir,
I, Adrian Keith, a resident of Gustave Delory for over four years. This area is in the vicinity of Charles de Gaul airport. The inhabitants are concerned with the news of the planned expansion of the airport.
This extension would augment traffic volume, which will create a nuisance for the residents of the society. Moreover, this change would result in the shrinking of a long stretch of green cover, thereby giving rise to several environmental problems.
A large chunk of people belongs to the age group more than sixty who have migrated here from the nearby cities after their retirement in the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle that is free from all sorts of pollution. But, a bigger airport that will eat up most vacant areas will kill this objective since the noise and air pollution accompanied by this development will heighten the possibility of numerous health hazards.
I would request the authority to kindly consider the matter on an urgent basis and render the residents a relief.
