You recently received your grade from your instructor and you are dissatisfied with your score. Write a letter to your instructor and

  • Introduce yourself.
  • let him know that you are dissatisfied with your grade.
  • mention the reasons to convince him that you deserve a better grade.

 Hello Mr. Jacob,

I am Simon Min and I am an exchange student who attends your English classes at Kingsley university.

I am reaching out to you with regards to the recent grades published for the summer midterms exams. While I completely respect the grades and your decision, to my utter dismay, I received a C+ on your paper which I least expected.

Over the course of this semester, I was compliant with the guidelines you had put forth and the multiple projects which needed to be completed to ensure I score an A+ on the overall paper. You were also kind enough to provide an option to complete additional activities which would help me score for additional credits for this paper as well which I had completed. Hence, I would like to request for a revaluation as I am confident that I would qualify for an A+ based on the paper I have written and the additional activities completed.

I look forward to hearing back from you on the same.

Regards,

Simon Min
