Dear Jinping,
I hope this letter finds in pink of health.
I’m sorry for I couldn’t write to you after arriving back home, as I got
involved in some important work. I must also thank you for the wonderful
experience I and my family had due to you in Beijing last month. The visit to
monasteries and, especially Cantonese food joints was an incomparable experience.
But, Cantonese food has also fetched me
trouble, as my kids seem to have developed an addiction to this food, and now
want that on their birthday, my wife must prepare Chinese noodles with Cabbage
cream. To make the things more
troublesome, they have spread the word around among their friends that their
mom is an expert at cooking Chinese delicacies.
You must help me at this by sending me the
recipe of the mentioned dishes and also a list of authentic spices that I must
source.
I promise to send you pictures of dishes
prepared for the party.
