I hope this letter finds you in a healthy spirit. My heartfelt apologies for not returning the Graph Theory book that you lent me last semester. Recently I got to know that your younger brother is entering into university this year and I assume that he might need the book. Without causing any further inconvenience to you, I wish to return it.
This book helped me a lot in preparing my presentation on Graph colouring. After the presentation, I was occupied with exam preparation and completely forgot to hand it back. Now, when I got to know your brother has enrolled in the University, I thought that it will be useful to him. Do let me know if I need to send it on an urgent basis, or should I make arrangements this weekend. Also share your present address.
Once again apologies for not returning it on time. I will definitely make it up to you at our next meeting. See you soon.
