Barak,
I am excited at the release of movie 'Kesari': a movie that
re-enacts battle of Saragarhi, that took place in 19th Century. I know you have
always been interested in exploring military history. Well, this is an opportunity
for you to get a peek into history of Indians military forces.
This movie is based
on an authentic account of a battle, in which a handful of sikh soldiers –
representing Royal British Indian Army fought valiantly against almost 10000 string
Afghan army. I have read initial reviews and seen some promotional trailers
about this movie. I can guarantee you'll enjoy this flick – which is unlike
usual 'Bollywood nonsense and frills". The characters and the battle scenes have been filmed with
help of some of the best Hollywood directors.
The movie will have its matinee show in Down Town Toronto
next Friday, and I am planning to book tickets well in advance for both of us. Do
tell me should I book your ticket too?
