You have had a bank account for a few years. Recently you received a letter from the bank stating that your account is $240 overdrawn and that you will be charged $70 which will be taken directly from your account. You know that this information is incorrect.
Write a letter to the bank. Explain what has happened and say what you would like them to do about it.
Dear Sir,
I regret to say that I am highly disappointed with your services. I have received a letter from the bank stating that $240 has overdrawn from my account owing to which I am obligated to pay a penalty of $70 which will be automatically deducted from my account. This situation requires immediate attention.
The information supplied is false since I have sufficient funds in my account. Being a premium member at your branch, I have been facing several problems for over a year. It is your onus to check everything thoroughly before issuing such letters. I will be left with no alternative but to shift my account to another branch this mistake is not rectified within 3 days.
I would like to draw your attention towards my account to verify it meticulously, and appreciate an apology for the inconvenience caused, besides being given an assurance that such mistakes will not get repeated in the future.
I look forward to receiving a prompt resolution on this issue.
Thank you
Yours Sincerely,
Antoine
