Dear Sir,
I am writing to you allow
our department to purchase an additional duplex printer cum scanner. Of late,
the load of documentation has been increasing tremendously in our section due
to the additional responsibility of handling exports being transferred to us,
making it imperative for us to get additional machines to rationalize the
workload and augment our efficiency.
Last week, we had asked for
some quotes from different companies that could supply us machines to suit our
needs. Consequently, we have received offers from Epson, Sieko and HP, which
are quite competitive, and which would be appropriate for us, in terms of our
budget.
I feel that deploying one of
these apparatus in our department could boost our productivity and allow the
personnel to not only relax but also save manhours, which could be used to
perform other more important tasks.
I, hereby, request you to
kindly look into this matter and grant us permission to procure the desired
equipment.
