I am writing to request you to reconsider your decision of closing down, in a dilapidated condition, park at Banjara Hill. It is felt by every resident in this area that, the council should revitalize this ground so that it can be used by the inhabitants of this area.

This ground has fallen into disuse due to various reasons: the boundary wall has collapsed, which allows stray animals to foray into this area. Besides this, this place, due to absence of appropriate security measures, is now frequented by drug-addicts and anti-social elements, which prevents people from sending their children to this park.

It is felt that this ground should be restored by repairing the boundary wall, and deploying proper security measures. If this could be done, children would have a wonderful place to play and relax. After all, it is necessary to provide young ones with some areas that can help them de-stress after taxing academic routines.
