You have an extra room in your apartment and
would like to rent it out to a student. Write a letter to the university
council officer and say:
– Describe your apartment and the facilities
available.
– Why do you want to rent out a room?
– What kind of tenant would you prefer?

Dear Sir,
I am Joachim Drinkwater, staying on the University road, and I am
writing this letter to you about a vacant, well furnished room in my house, at my
home that I would like to rent out to a student at the university.
My house is located on the main road and at a walking distance from the
Varsity, and has 2 floors and a terrace with an independent room set on the
third floor. This room set is a new addition to premises, thus the construction
is all new. It has its own kitchen and attached washroom. Besides this anyone renting
out this room would have an independent access through the main stairs.
I would love to rent out this
set to mature students, doing post graduation or a higher course, who are also
doing some part time jobs, so that I do not have face problems in getting monthly
lease on time.
I hope that you would list my property as a probable to-let premises for students.
Thanking you,
Joachim Drinkwater.
