Ielts Essay Letter Semi Formal

Dear Mr. Bernard,

I came across a brochure of your company offering a walking tour across the wilderness of Triund in Himachal Pradesh, India. It immediately caught my attention, for I have been looking forward to trekking to this location since long, but have not been able to go on one such trip since I have been sick lately.

I fell sick almost a year ago; I was down with dengue fever for almost 15 days, and since then I have been recuperating. I seem to have developed a phobia of walking for too long and that also on high altitudes. Still, I am curious and wish to continue with my dreamt trekking rendezvous/ outing.

It would convenient enough, if you could supply me with the information about the date of start of the tour, duration and prices of the package: what it would include, like boarding, lodging and travelling, and also if your company also provided any medical assistance while trekking in the remote locations.

Hoping for a quick response from your end.

Thanking You

Yours Sincerely

Ielts General Training Writing Letters
Dear Sir,
It was a great shock to receive a letter from your bank stating that there was an overdraft of $240 in my account, and I would have to pay $70. I feel, there has been some communication gap, as this discrepancy is surely a case of gross negligence on account of your employees.

When I checked the statement of my account, I realized that the bank had transferred $240 to my insurance premium even though I had issued standing instructions about not transferring premium to the insurance company, as I had discontinued the policy.

However, I realize that your staff chose to ignore my instructions and issue a transfer off amount. This has caused me immense stress and inconvenience: I have been levied not only an extra charge on the over drawing but also the transaction fee. This is quite unwarranted, and I think the bank should take a stern action against such erring people.

I anticipate a quick response from your end and reversal of my money and charges wrongfully levied.

Thank you

Yours Sincerely,

Adolf Hitler.

Your car insurance company has told you that they are going to increase the amount you have to pay
Ielts Letter Car Insurance

Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my displeasure over the raise in the insurance premium that I must pay every month to enjoy insurance coverage for my car. It is indeed shocking for a regular customer who has always opted for your company.

I have been maintaining relations with your company since last eight years, for the three cars  I have possessed in these years. If you refer to your records, you would realize the fact that during this period, I have never been a claimant, on account of being a careful and responsible driver. This aspect, in my view really deserves to be duly appreciated, and the raise in premium is the last thing that a regular client with no claims record, would expect.

I have been approached by various companies for transferring my insurance to their company; however, I would still be interested in continuing with your organization provided you can give a satisfactory reason for the hike.

I hope you would resolve and respond at the earliest.

Thanking you
Yours Sincerely

Ielts General Training Letters Parking Problems in Office
Dear Sir,
I am writing to request you to kindly look into a pressing problem, that is not only affecting efficiency of organization but also the business: the lack of parking space in our office premises.

Of late everybody has been finding it hard to cope with the lack of  appropriate parking slots in the allocated space leased by our company. This issue has recently surfaced due to closure of authorized municipal parking area for renovation, which is bound to take not less than a year.

This has forced workers to look for alternative arrangements, but the nearest parking available is a mile away from our premises, which is making it hard for workers: they must walk two miles every day. Even our clients have been complaining about finding it hard approach us, which is affecting our business.

There is some extra space available for parking in our building, and everybody feels that we could actually have that place.

I hope that you would look into this request with compassion.

Thanking you

Yours Sincerely

Ielts GT Letter School Foreign Trip
Dear Sir,

I, Brandon Fraser, father of Martha Fraser, student of Class VI-B, would love to accompany kids on trip to Paris, that your school is organizing next month. I am pretty sure that I, with my good knowledge of Paris and its surroundings could prove to be of a great help.

I have lived in the French Capital for almost 10 years, and have developed a good acquaintance with the city and the surroundings: the attractions, the locales the distances and the best way to reach these locations. Moreover, I being a member of civil society of   Parisians could prove to be beneficial as it make it easier for the troupe of students and teachers to gain entry, on priority, into certain galleries and museums.

I could arrange everything ahead of the scheduled trip, if only, I could get to know how many people would be travelling to Paris and also about the scheduled itinerary.

I thank you for the opportunity and  request you to kindly help me with the required information.

Thank You,

Your Sincerely

Brandon Fraser

Ielts General Training Formal Letters City council is planning to pull down one of the historic buildings in your town, because they do not have funds to renovate it

City council is planning to pull down one of the historic buildings in your town, because they do not have funds to renovate it. As a citizen, you don’t want it to happen. Write a letter to the city council and say

– What is the importance of the building?
– Why should it be renovated?
– Suggest a plan to raise funds and maintain the building in the future.

Ielts General Training Formal Letters
Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my disbelief and shock at the decision of the city council to tear down century old Art Gallery – which has been the most beautiful land mark of Delhi, with a great nostalgic value since its construction in 1901 – due to dearth of funds to refurbish it.

Most of my like-minded citizens have expressed their concern and regret: they too want that some solution be found out to save this site – that has been always regarded as pride of our city – from being razed to the ground, and that is thronged by a number of tourists throughout the year.

Demolition of this gallery would rob the young generation of an opportunity to take a look into the rich past of our society.

People are prepared to associate with the council and work for the collection of money – by organizing collection drives and evens to raise awareness – that could surely help refurbish this glorious structure.

I hope you would look into this matter with a great compassion.

Thanking you

Yours Sincerely,

Max
